Research Interests: | Our group wants to understand the role of mitochondrial proteases in the maintenance of the mitochondrial proteome. We use yeast, mammalian and patient cells to investigate the pathophysiological consequences of dysfunctions in these proteases that result in severe neurodegenerative diseases and cardiomyopathies. |
